The Viagra Chronicles

I haven’t been blogging for sometime now, I guess I got a bit bored of that. My life as the Viagra Wife has continued as usual. Meaning: he takes a pill (he’s still experimenting with different pills and brands), we have sex. I think that got me a bit bored too. I was never really into pills, even when I suffer from headaches it’s very rare that I pop an Advil into my throat.

So last weekend I was working really hard at the restaurant (sick waitress, a bartender with a massive hangover – hell). I hardly saw home, not to mention my family. No, no sex either. Anyways, some friends of mine came to the restaurant one evening to cheer me up, they had dinner and drank not too little (2 champagne bottles) and took me to the back yard for a puff. There were 5 of them: 2 guys and a girl, and another 2 guys which I never saw before. Now one of them, Adam, was quite a guy. I mean, he was beautiful. I don’t usually cheat on my husband but I do enjoy flirting. And Adam, he was very flirty.

Until I finished my shift there were only 3 left at the table: Adam and 2 more guys that I know and love, but at the moment I wanted them to talk less and let me focus on my babe-of-the-night. Did I mention how gorgeous he was? Cute smile, chocolate skin, blue eyes. Really a fairy-tale prince.

We all went to this one guys’ flat to get something to smoke, and while there somebody switched on the tv and that was it. We stayed there. Adam started to talk to me how does it feel to be so young and already with a family – I usually hate it when people talk to my like this, like there is one way to live and I’m living a weird kind of life just because it’s not like theirs – but remember, this guy was stunning. I started to talk about Louis, about being loyal (I kept hoping for him to kiss me, so I spoke like we are having an open relationship, kind of). Before I knew it I started to tell him that age does have its price, and the little blue pill came into the picture.

Adam is young, he’s 24 years old, looks even younger. I was very shocked when he told me he was using Viagra. I didn’t want to go into details, maybe he had a problem, maybe this sweet guy is really impotent. Many films ran in my head now: him sad in bed with a lovely girl, him talking to his doctor about it, him being depressed and can’t get girls because of his problem. Really a whole Hallmark of pictures. But then Adam told me his story…

He said he was gay, and that he goes to those saunas and darkrooms and mostly it ends in an orgy. He takes Viagra just to make what he has (and he said he has a lot..) last longer, so he could really enjoy himself for hours.

I never knew there was such a scene of young gays popping Viagra and having orgies! I felt so old, miles away from this kind of hedonistic way of life. Adam kissed me and told me I look happy and satisfied. We stayed there on the couch watching TV, touching each other’s bodies. His skin was less soft than I’ve imagined.

He gave me his number, said I could join him and his friends if I wanted, ‘maybe bring Louis as well’. I laughed. I imagined Louis and Adam give each other a Viagra on the tongue.

Maybe it’s not such a bad idea after all.
