This week has been full with interesting Viagra news.

Tesco Slammed Over Cheap Viagra By Top Liverpool Doctor

First I must say this doctor is a brave woman. First off, she wouldn’t mind being the one who delivers you the bad news. But perhaps as a doctor she’s used to this. But second, and most important; she’s not afraid to stand in front of such a huge corporation like Tesco. She says that the fact that Tesco sells Viagra is a risk to men’s health.
So why is Tesco risking men’s health?
Dr. Gallard says:

I am very concerned that if men start buying Viagra from supermarkets, we could see increased numbers of cases of Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes going undetected.
There is also potential for abuse by customers, who could purchase from multiple stores without clear safeguarding measures.

And what’s the health risk? Well, read on, this is actually a very bothering piece of news regarding the little blue pill:

Erectile dysfunction is often an early warning sign of potential CVD and Diabetes problems, and by simply masking the problem with Viagra, they are just ignoring what could be a potentially fatal issue

This got me really worried. Since my husband is too busy lately, I called his doctor and made sure he didn’t miss his annual tests. I actually stressed the fact that he was using Viagra for the last couple of years, and then the doctor added some tests for him!
This is important! Check your body – blood and heart – if you are using Viagra. Don’t let the good vibes of the blue pill blind you. Viagra saves your sex life, but you only get to have sex life when you’re…alive. So take care of your body.

Viagra Won’t Work For You, Low Testosterone Men Warned

You had to think those two problems – low testosterone and erectile dysfunction – have something to do with each other. It appears that 1 out of 5 men with erectile dysfunction have low testosterone levels, which may be a sign for other diseases which better be treated and not ignored:

Low testosterone is linked to increased risk of mortality from diabetes and cardiovascular events so diagnosing it is very important in preventing those diseases.

Bottom line, check your testosterone levels. If it’s low, get from your doctor a testosterone replacement, which will defend your body from getting the really dangerous diabetes or cardiovascular events. Then, and only then, if it’s still won’t stand, get the Viagra.

Louis got it bad the last couple of weeks. He keeps asking for sex. I mean, we’re not teenagers anymore (were we ever?), twice a day is too much for me. he wants more, I want less. I even told him the night before that he should stop taking Viagra, if he cannot handle the side effects.

‘What Side effects?’  he asked, still too horny to focus.

i wrote about this before, but never have I felt it so strong in me. i thing that little blue pill, that little devil blue pill, is getting in the way of our relationships. Louis is older than me, I should be the one with the higher libido. But somehow the take-the-pill-and-get-it-on atmosphere doesn’t work for me anymore.

i want to feel like our sex life is natural, not chemical. I want to live with a 40-something husband, not a horny teenager. I’m just too tired. And I’m also scared, I’m scared of discovering that in the last two years (or is it 3 by now?) our relationship became all about my man’s penis.

I’m frustrated, and scared, and I hate Viagra.

Louis can really get furuis sometimes. I know it’s really hard for the people that work with him in the kitchen, but i also get a share of the trouble. Less and less, since having a baby made him more calm, in a way. But some things still make him become as red as a riped tomato. Couple of weeks ago Louis ordered a special ED pill, something we’ve never heard of before but looked good. It was also very expensive (about $90 for one pill) so we figured it should be a secret remedy made of really good stuff. Louis saw this pill on one site, then looked on the online pharmacy he normally uses, but they didn’t have that special pill.

So we ordered it from the first site, without making any test order before. Normally Louis is slower in those things, but this pill looked so good he got greedy. He ordered 3 pills online, and I won’t give here the site name but it’s located in a country north to the US. You know what I mean if you’re buying your Viagra online like us.

They said it should take up to 4 days to get the pills, we waited and waited but nothing arrived. Louis had to re-order his normal Viagra online in the meantime, on the website we always use and trust.

We sent emails after as week. After 10 days, we called their support. Louis got already a bit nervous. I was afraid of a scam, maybe they would use our card details the wrong way. After 12 days we got a note in the post. We had to collect the package and pay tax on it! Louis got so angry, he decided to call the whole thing off, and never collected tha package.

It was a lesson to learn. First, check the online pharmacy you’re going to order from. Second, if you use an online pharmacy that you find satisfing – don’t look further.

My mom asked me if everything was OK. I had a coffee at their place, my sister was there too. She’s older than me and she doesn’t have a boyfriend for a long time now, so she hates me and she hates Louis. Specially Louis. ‘Yes, all is cool. Why would you ask?’, I knew why, but I really didn’t feel like talking about it.

A few weeks back I went to the mall with my sister and told her Louis was using impotence pills (back then he was still on the daily Cialis, which by now he neglected to go back to the old little blue pill). I don’t remember why exactly, but I told her about my short affair with my gay friend and somehow I told her about Louis little problem too. It seemed connected, me having an affair while my husband can’t get it on, but it’s not. I know it now, because I no longer have the affair nor want to have any, and Louis still can’t get it on..

So later, my sister told my mom. I imagine how she did it, probably was something like: ‘I don’t have any problem having any guy I want, mom, I a single and I’m fucking happy, bitch, and for your information it’s your teenage married daughter who is having some problems in her love life, so why won’t you fuck off and find your other daughter-in-need’.  Yeah, my sister is half tourette, not officially but in a very practical, annoying way.

So what my mom really wanted to know was gossip. Maybe my dad needed it too and she was too shy to ask. I hope not, and if he is I can send him to speak to Louis’ father…Men! Later she called me on the phone and was very direct. She heard Louis was using “the pill” and she wanted to make sure it wasn’t dangerous.

So, is it?

I told her Viagra was like any other medicament, it has instructions and you must follow them. Louis is still relatively young so he doesn’t take any other medications, which makes it easier (no contradictions between pills), and he never takes more than a pill a day.

Great, my mom was relaxed now. I think she only wanted to talk to me about it, no way she really thought Viagra is dangerous. I mean, why should she? It’s a, well, very respected drug. After that she started to talk to me about my sister. What will be the end with her?

I don’t know, like all of us I guess, finding a boy she likes, then he gets older and takes Viagra, that’s it.

Stupid question, eh? Well of course it’s different. When my husband can’t keep himself hard long enough to satisfy me or to enjoy the sex himself it is not a very cool situation. Besides, once he experienced bad sex with a weak erection, he has the fear of experiencing it again. This is why me and my husband started with Viagra in the first place. I guess this is why most men with an ED problem (or couples) start using ED medications. But here I want to stop an separate the points of view: my husband’s and mine.

He, of course, feels more secure now. In the beginning he felt bad and old, and maybe not a man enough, but he got over it (especially after reading how many people are actually using the pill, and that’s only the official number). The effect then on our sex was amazing: not only Louis was sure of himself again, and we started to have sex more often like before, but also using Viagra actually made him more horny and refreshed about sex. Kind of like the effect of watching a good juicy porn I guess. It’s becoming a habit, and you know that once you take the pill you have great sex, so now every time he takes it he feels like he’s about to have great sex..and he does.

Well, almost. Things can go wrong with Viagra too. Not anything too drastic (Louis doesn’t use any other medications besides the blue pill), but sex is still not mechanical, there are still us people involved. I mean here mostly me. It’s like, there are times he takes the pill without checking with me first what’s on my mind. Maybe I prefer a quiet night? Maybe I feel like having sex a bit later over the day (you’re not supposed to take Viagra or any other ED pill more than once a day). I mean, the other night Louis just came to me, all horny and hot, just to find out I got my period that day (he’s too strict about those things, we don’t have sex when I bleed). Now he suffered and was disappointed, and I felt bad for the whole situation. But I hope this made it completely clear to him to ask me before he takes it. I was mad with him the morning after, I don’t want to feel guilty just because he’s being selfish!

And there’s the spontaneity factor. You take Viagra 30 minutes before sex, Cialis and Levitra 1 hour before. i think this is why we stick to Viagra, because one hour before for almost daily sex is almost impossible. Louis takes it on an empty stomach and it starts working after half an hour. We are still considering the daily Cialis, but until I check more details about it –  it seems a bit extreme to use a daily pill for an ED problem.

Anyways, good news: Louis’ restaurant received a very good critic recently, and more people are coming in. Louis feels very good now, but he has less time for me. Or for sex. And he’s more tired when he gets back home. But I guess those are the good troubles…

Tomorrow Louis will go to his doctor to get a new prescription to Viagra. I am just happy we proved ourselves that we are capable of having sex without the pill, even if it was a short mutual masturbation and not a real penetration…I seriously couldn’t care less, I loved being with Louis without the pill but I also love the idea of having the stock of pills again. It’s just makes it easier.

My best friend Anne thinks it’s really cool I’m so supportive and accepting the fact that my husband uses Viagra. I never thought I can act other way, I  mean I for sure not going to be against him using Viagra if he needs to! But I did read an article about what women think of men using Viagra, and they were against it. Thing is, in this article they talked with older women that had less feeling for sex – and then their husbands acted like horny teenagers on the pill..and they felt it was too much for them. Me, on the other hand, I’m much younger than my husband, so it really is a good deal for us You should read this short article, if you can understand German of course
