The Viagra Chronicles

Louis started to use the daily Cialis now. It’s all that spontaneity that he misses when using Viagra. We were considering that daily Cialis for some time now, one thing we didn’t like was the idea of taking a daily pill. But it is a very small dose (2.5mg) and it seems to work so far. Louis has an erection whenever he wants, or whenever I want, or whatever. It was important for us also because of our baby girl, we couldn’t really decide anymore when will we have sex. Things aren’t so sure once you have kids, and by taking the pill daily we made sure it didn’t matter much.

This coming weekend we are going to Egypt for a vacation: I’m so excited, I’ve never been to Egypt before. All this desert, exotic food, people…Our daughter stays with my parents, so we could also have sex whenever we want. Sounds good, right? I told Louis maybe we buy the normal Cialis pack for that weekend, because it lasts up to 36 hours. But I’m not sure if it makes much sense now that he already uses the daily pill. We’ll see.

First off, some updates regarding my affair…it’s over. I can’t lie to my husband, I don’t want to become the people I hate most, and I have no intention of living double life. It’s exhausting, above all.

So I’m back with Louis now, and I say ‘back’ coz it really feels like I’ve been away for some time now. We hardly had sex, he didn’t even try coz I was so distanced, and went out quite a lot. i actually realized that once I saw his pack of Viagra pills, still not empty after almost a month (he buys the big boxes, those with 40 pills inside, you get good discounts on them).

I came to Louis and told him ‘why don’t you come early tonight, we can be together’. Louis was happy, he even said: ‘oh, she’s back..’. I felt embarrassed then. I thought of Adam and became to horny to control myself. But I waited for him. I waited for my husband. until then, I had some hours to kill, I took a long bath and told myself this is how it should be. I’m married and happy. Before I took that bath I put our kid at my parents – told them Louis bought tickets for a movie. They were happy enough to see her, so that was fine.

Louis came and I was pretty aggressive, pushing him to the bed and taking both of our cloths off. He told me he didn’t take it yet and I said ‘lets try without it’. He didn’t want to! he said that we haven’t had sex for a week now and he wants to do it the right way.

Can you believe it? He wouldn’t even try. I think he gave up his own body, now totally relying on the pill to do the work for him (half of the work, that is, coz you must be horny for Viagra to work – but that part is on me!).

Anyways, I’m so upset now I hate Viagra, I hate Louis, and I hate myself for killing my affair too early. I’m horny, dammit.

We went a few guys after work to watch Avatar in the cinema. Eddie made a joke of the director being hooked on Viagra when he planned this movie (all the creatures there are blue).

I have a confession to make. Shit I hate this. I don’t write so often and then when I do is only to bring my stupid confession. We went to sleep early that day, Louis in pain and I’m thinking about Adam. Next morning I give him a call. He’s happy to hear my voice, I ask him (‘a weird question I have for you’) if he ever had this headache as a side effect of Viagra, he says sure, it may happen sometimes. I called Louis and broke him the news, that it doesn’t mean it will happen now all the time. It comes and goes, he can continue use the Viagra safely. I think he knew that already, he wasn’t at all interested to hear more about it. For sure he wasn’t interested to hear about my new gay friend.

I didn’t tell him but Adam invited me to this party his friend had in a bar that weekend. I went there alone. I don’t know why but I felt it was for the best. Told Eddie it was someone from work, and that he should go out as well, some quality time without each other.

No, I won’t tell you everything here. Just that he was gorgeous, even more than I remembered. He bought me drinks and treated me like a princess (or a prince?), and we took some drugs together, and we stayed in the dark back room, where we kissed for hours, and made love. It was love, I’m sure. And I’m still in it, I’m in love with my gay friend.

I asked him afterwards if he have sex with women often and he smiled and said ‘no’. I didn’t want to ask more than that, it’s not my business yet. He didn’t mention Louis at all. I asked him at the end, still in this dark room with lots of kissing and licking sounds around us, I asked Adam if he took Viagra that night. He said he didn’t need to, he was hard enough to continue all night with me if I could.

I still have his smell all over my face and my body, his saliva all over me, I’m still there.

This week was hell. I need to delete my sms from Adam but I cannot, I want to read them again and again. It can cost me, I know.

what should I do?? Louis is so good to me, but I can’t and won’t stop my heart for no one.

Now that my husband gave me the job of finding him the best pill against his impotence, I started to read a lot of material. A lot of what i read online is unreliable content, made in order to sell something. I am not blind so i take care to check the source of the things I read: How does the website looks like, does it sell ED pills or other products, and on what does it base its conclusions.

I must say it is a hard job Louis gave me. I’m sure the first good answer would be:

Each man must find the best ED pill that suits best his needs.

I read some comparing tables (I will upload one myself to this website soon) – those are tables that compare the ED pills that are today on the market. So far I checked: Viagra Pfizer, Cialis Lilly, Levitra Bayer, Viagra soft tabs, Daily Cialis, Cialis soft tabs.

I make this check mainly for my husband, Louis, but my result will interest most of my readers, I’m sure. Here’s what I got so far:

How much time before the sex do you must take the pill? Viagra should be taken 30 minutes before the sex, at least. My husband took it always on an empty belly and then 30 minutes were enough. Some men may require 60 minutes. Cialis and Levitra require 60 minutes at least. With Daily Cialis there are two possible dose: 2.5mg and 5mg, and since you take it daily you’re pretty much ready anytime, anywhere. The soft tabs reduces the time of the medication to take effect: Viagra soft tabs starts to work after 20 minutes, Cialis soft tabs after 15.

How long is the duration of the pill’s effect? To make it short and clear: all ED pills, besides Cialis, last for about 4-5 hours (Viagra 4, Levitra 5). The soft tabs last slightly longer sometimes, depends on the specific pill (they are all generic, Pfizer doesn’t make soft tabs, nor does Eli Lilly).

What are the limitations of taking the pill? Here I must say that the list of drugs that you should not combine with any PDE5 pill (ED pills) is rather long. I will post it here on my sidebar for your convenience. My husband does not use any other pill, but as I understood all the PDE5 pills are not recommended for use in combination with high blood pressure pills (but please see the full list and consult your doctor about any medication you may use).

What are the side effects of the pill? Most pills specify similar side effects that are common and not dangerous, such as headaches, runny nose and back pain. I read that the soft tabs, both Viagra soft tabs and Cialis soft tabs, should have less side effects. The Daily Cialis should also have much less side effects, because the daily dose is much smaller.

Alright! Now that we are slightly smarter, do the math yourself. As i told my husband, I guess in the next few weeks we’ll be experimenting with those pills until we figure out what is the best ED pill for us. It is also a couple thing, you must remember

Stupid question, eh? Well of course it’s different. When my husband can’t keep himself hard long enough to satisfy me or to enjoy the sex himself it is not a very cool situation. Besides, once he experienced bad sex with a weak erection, he has the fear of experiencing it again. This is why me and my husband started with Viagra in the first place. I guess this is why most men with an ED problem (or couples) start using ED medications. But here I want to stop an separate the points of view: my husband’s and mine.

He, of course, feels more secure now. In the beginning he felt bad and old, and maybe not a man enough, but he got over it (especially after reading how many people are actually using the pill, and that’s only the official number). The effect then on our sex was amazing: not only Louis was sure of himself again, and we started to have sex more often like before, but also using Viagra actually made him more horny and refreshed about sex. Kind of like the effect of watching a good juicy porn I guess. It’s becoming a habit, and you know that once you take the pill you have great sex, so now every time he takes it he feels like he’s about to have great sex..and he does.

Well, almost. Things can go wrong with Viagra too. Not anything too drastic (Louis doesn’t use any other medications besides the blue pill), but sex is still not mechanical, there are still us people involved. I mean here mostly me. It’s like, there are times he takes the pill without checking with me first what’s on my mind. Maybe I prefer a quiet night? Maybe I feel like having sex a bit later over the day (you’re not supposed to take Viagra or any other ED pill more than once a day). I mean, the other night Louis just came to me, all horny and hot, just to find out I got my period that day (he’s too strict about those things, we don’t have sex when I bleed). Now he suffered and was disappointed, and I felt bad for the whole situation. But I hope this made it completely clear to him to ask me before he takes it. I was mad with him the morning after, I don’t want to feel guilty just because he’s being selfish!

And there’s the spontaneity factor. You take Viagra 30 minutes before sex, Cialis and Levitra 1 hour before. i think this is why we stick to Viagra, because one hour before for almost daily sex is almost impossible. Louis takes it on an empty stomach and it starts working after half an hour. We are still considering the daily Cialis, but until I check more details about it –  it seems a bit extreme to use a daily pill for an ED problem.

Anyways, good news: Louis’ restaurant received a very good critic recently, and more people are coming in. Louis feels very good now, but he has less time for me. Or for sex. And he’s more tired when he gets back home. But I guess those are the good troubles…
